Lawrence County has 3 deer processors in this directory, spread across 3 towns: Enon Valley, New Castle and Pulaski. Shops with Google reviews here average 4.7 stars, in line with the statewide 4.6. Beatty's Country Market leads the ranking with a 4.9 average from 110 Google reviews.
To donate venison through Hunters Sharing the Harvest, use Beatty's Country Market and Nashua Livestock. None of these shops is on the PGC cooperating processor list. Under the 2026-27 CWD rules you don't need one, since any shop can take your deer as long as high-risk parts go out with the trash. That's 67% of local shops in HSH, against 36% statewide. For late drags out of the woods, Beatty's Country Market offers after-hours or 24/7 drop-off.
If you want more than steaks and burger, the shops here list bologna, jerky, fresh sausage and smoked products. None of these listings mention bear or elk, so call first if you have one. Beatty's Country Market publishes a base processing price of $145.00; the rest quote by phone.
Lawrence County is in the PGC's Northwest Region. Region at a glance: Allegheny National Forest country, from Erie and Warren south through Venango, Mercer and Clarion. If every cooler here is full, neighboring Beaver, Mercer, Butler and Venango counties have 20 listed processors between them. If you want your deer tested for CWD, ask the shop to save the head, or drop it at a free PGC head bin.

Drop-off checklist
- Tag it right away. Tag the deer immediately after harvest and before you move it. The tag goes on the ear and stays there until the deer is processed.
- Field dress and cool fast. Remove entrails, drain the cavity and get the deer cold. In warm weather, pack the cavity with bagged ice.
- High-risk parts go in the trash. New for 2026-27: you can move a deer anywhere, but once it leaves the kill site the head, backbone and spleen must go out with commercial trash. A processor handles that for you.
- Report within 10 days. Online, by phone at 1-800-838-4431, or with the digest report card.
