None of these processors list a 24/7 drop-off. If you hunt until dark, call ahead about late intake or keep the deer iced.
Service details aren't published for these shops yet. Call to ask about specialty products and packaging before you drop off. Bear and elk aren't mentioned in these listings; call ahead to confirm a shop will take one. Pricing isn't posted for these shops. Ask for the base rate, then skinning, caping and specialty product charges.
Lehigh County is in the PGC's Southeast Region. Region at a glance: Lancaster, Berks and the Philadelphia suburbs, where special-regulation areas and farmland deer keep processors busy. If every cooler here is full, neighboring Northampton, Monroe, Berks and Montgomery counties have 21 listed processors between them. If you want your deer tested for CWD, ask the shop to save the head, or drop it at a free PGC head bin.

Drop-off checklist
- Tag it right away. Tag the deer immediately after harvest and before you move it. The tag goes on the ear and stays there until the deer is processed.
- Field dress and cool fast. Remove entrails, drain the cavity and get the deer cold. In warm weather, pack the cavity with bagged ice.
- High-risk parts go in the trash. New for 2026-27: you can move a deer anywhere, but once it leaves the kill site the head, backbone and spleen must go out with commercial trash. A processor handles that for you.
- Report within 10 days. Online, by phone at 1-800-838-4431, or with the digest report card.
